Theo Braddy is the visionary behind IL Consultants and leads the Primary Team. Theo graduated from Temple University with a Masters degree in Social Work in 1988. He also attended Edinboro University and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work in 1986.

At the early age of 15, he became a person with a disability due to a high school football accident. For over 25 years, Mr. Braddy has advocated on behalf of persons with disabilities.

He was hired in 1988 to establish and administer the Center for Independent Living of Central Pennsylvania (CILCP). As Executive Director, Mr. Braddy has created an independent living center that has become a strong and growing voice for persons with disabilities.

Mr. Braddy has taught as an adjunct professor for Temple University and serves on a number of boards and committees. He was appointed by the Governor in 1998 to serve as a Commissioner for the Pennsylvania Human Relation Commission.

Mr. Braddy works diligently towards ensuring that the Americans with Disabilities Act and other laws affecting people with disabilities are fully implemented to allow for full participation of all citizens with disabilities.

Mr. Braddy has served as a federal reviewer for grant applications submitted to the Department of Education from various organizations throughout the country.

Mr. Braddy has been instrumental in restoring a number of organizations and coalitions through strategic planning, trainings and presentations. His no nonsense approach to accountability, teamwork and commitment is often mentioned in describing his leadership style.
