CILCP Fund Raising (Development)

The CILCP maintains ongoing fundraising activities to raise additional funds to support the programs and services of the agency.

General Donations

We do accept VISA and MasterCard as a method of making contributions, however these payments must be made by calling the CILCP at (717) 731-1900 or (717) 737-1335 (tty).

Memorial Donations

In honor of people who have demonstrated the true meaning of independent living, the Center for Independent Living of Central Pennsylvania has created a wall system to give special recognition to loved ones who have passed away. Names are inscribed in this lovely memorial wall recognizing donations of 100.00 or more in a loved one's memory.

The following inscription precedes your loved one's name:

This Memorial Wall of Honor is dedicated to the memory of individuals committed to the mission of the CILCP. Their lives are a testimony to philosophy of the Independent Living Movement.

Tribute Donations

Donations can also be made in honor of a special occasion such as a birth, anniversary, birthday or special celebration. A card acknowledging the gift is sent to the honoree indicating that a donation has been made in his or her name. The amount is not indicated, unless requested.

In-Kind Donations

Donations of items are accepted if they can be utilized by the CILCP in some manner. Often gifts and gift certificates are needed to be used for prizes for a variety of fund raisers. Services of all types can also be donated to be used for fund raising events and for other agency uses. Please call the CILCP office if you have some item or service you wish to donate. Appropriate tax receipts will be issued.
