Home Accessibility for Living Well (HALW) provides quality home modification services to persons with diverse disabilities. It's your home, it should be your choice!
Need a good reliable contractor, specializing in home access? HALW can make referrals of contractors to meet your needs.
Other services include, but are not limited to, the oversight and overall management of home modification and accessibility construction projects. HALW will from start to finish, ensure that persons with diverse disabilities’ home modification and accessibility needs are met, according to the owner or renter’s needs and ensure that modifications also meet ADA requirements. Examples of construction projects are access ramps, bathroom modifications, kitchen modifications, bedroom modifications, stair lifts, etc.
Home Accessibility for Living Well is a division of the Center for Independent Living of Central PA (CILCP). Over the years the CILCP has become an expert with ensuring that home modifications and access are done correctly and decided to create a specialized division to carry on this tradition of ensuring quality home modifications the way you want it done.
