Living Well Specialist

Assist persons with disabilities in receiving appropriate services to live more independently.  These services include information and referral, peer services, independent living skills training and advocacy.  Individuals must have the ability to travel to all serviced counties.  Bachelors Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling or related field, along with a minimum of one year experience or a combination of education and experience is required. 

Part Time positions are available with flexible work schedules in the Harrisburg and York areas.  Assist persons with disabilities in their homes with various daily living tasks such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and miscellaneous activities.  Individuals must possess a strong work ethic, be able to take direction from persons with disabilities and have reliable transportation.  Criminal background check and child abuse clearance will be conducted.
