Nicole L. Jones says that returning to CILCP was an easy decision because of her belief in their vision.

(CAMP HILL, PA) - The Center for Independent Living of Central Pennsylvania (CILCP) announces that Nicole L. Jones has joined the organization as a fiscal agent assistant according to Theotis Braddy, CILCP's executive director.

CILCP is a nonprofit, nonresidential organization established to advance the rights of people with disabilities through the elimination and prevention of barriers experienced by people with disabilities.

"We look for skilled employees who share the same ideals as CILCP," Mr. Braddy, said. "Nicole's past experience with the organization in a variety of capacities including her previous role as an independent consultant will be a tremendous asset to CILCP and our clients."

As the fiscal agent assistant, Ms. Jones will maintain filing systems for all consumer employers, maintain MAS90 accounting systems for each consumer employer, process payroll checks for employees of consumer employers, and assist with other financial responsibilities.

Ms. Jones joined CILCP in 1999 as an interpreter coordinator. In 2001 she began working as an IM4Q independent monitor conducting surveys of people with mental retardation on the services they receive from the county. Although she worked with CILCP, her position as IM4Q monitor was independent of the organization.

"Returning to CILCP was an easy decision," Ms. Jones said. "Their mission to empower people with disabilities to fully participate in society is an ideal that I strongly support."

Ms. Jones graduated from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. with a BS in psychology/counseling. She currently lives in Palmyra, Pa. with her husband.

The Center for Independent Living of Central Pennsylvania is a nonprofit, nonresidential organization established for and by people with disabilities and serves Cumberland, Dauphin, Perry, Mifflin and Juniata counties. CILCP's vision is to empower people with disabilities to fully participate in all aspects of society.
