(Camp Hill, PA) - The Center for Independent Living
of Central Pennsylvania (CILCP) announces that Sara Hummer
has been promoted to director of payroll management from
office manager according to Theotis Braddy, CILCP's
executive director.
CILCP is a nonprofit, nonresidential organization
established to advance the rights of people with
disabilities through the elimination and prevention of
barriers experienced by people with disabilities.
"We look for skilled employees who share the same ideals
as CILCP," Mr. Braddy said. "Sara's previous experience in
both payroll management and human resources will be a
tremendous benefit to CILCP and our customers."
As the director of payroll services Ms. Hummer will
supervise a program that contracts with consumers who wish
to employ their own personal care attendants. She will be
responsible for maintaining all records on behalf of the
employers and submitting all applicable state and federal
forms and taxes. Ms. Hummer will also assist the fiscal
department with accounts payable, supervise the day-to-day
operations of the CILCP office and will act as the interim
Human Resource Manager.

Before joining CILCP, Ms. Hummer served as a territory
manager for a mid-sized Central Pennsylvania Company. The
position included payroll management and human resources
responsibilities. She has also served as a branch supervisor
for a local bank.
A Mechanicsburg native, Ms. Hummer is married and has one
son.
The Center for Independent Living of Central Pennsylvania
is a nonprofit, nonresidential organization established for
and by people with disabilities and serves Cumberland,
Dauphin, Perry, Mifflin and Juniata counties. CILCP's vision
is to empower people with disabilities to fully participate
