CENTER FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING NAMES STANLEY BAKER
FISCAL ASSISTANT
(Camp Hill, Pa.) - The Center for Independent
Living of Central Pennsylvania (CILCP) announces that
Stanley Baker has joined the organization as a fiscal
assistant according to Theotis Braddy, CILCP's executive
director.
CILCP is a nonprofit, nonresidential organization
established to advance the rights of people with
disabilities through the elimination and prevention of
barriers.
"We look for skilled employees who share the same ideals
as CILCP," Braddy said. "Stanley's past experience and
knowledge in finance will enhance our organization."
As the fiscal assistant, Baker will process accounts
payable and maintain filing systems for the accounts
payable. He is also responsible for maintaining check
registry, making bank deposits, submitting monthly requests
for funds, and copying and mailing quarterly and year-end
taxes. Baker also assists CILCP's director of finance with
payroll processing.
Baker has worked in the office and bookkeeping fields for
the past eight years and has another six years experience in
purchasing. He also has experience in customer service.
"I've always been a numbers person. Finance and
bookkeeping are things that I enjoy," Baker said. "Being
able to work for a quality organization like CILCP is a
great opportunity."
Currently a Carlisle resident, Baker was born and raised
in Cumberland County. He is a husband, father and
grandfather who enjoys spending his free time with his
family.
The Center for Independent Living of Central Pennsylvania
is a nonprofit, nonresidential organization established for
and by people with disabilities and serves Cumberland,
Dauphin, Perry, Mifflin and Juniata counties. CILCP's vision
