CENTER FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING OFFERS FISCAL EMPLOYEE PAYROLL SERVICES As an official Waiver provider CILCP can give consumers comprehensive payroll services CILCP's comprehensive Attendant Care Services include Fiscal Employee Payroll Services.   (Camp Hill, PA) - In an effort to give customers more control of attendant care, the Center for Independent Living of Central Pennsylvania (CILCP) now offers comprehensive Consumer Employer Payroll Services. CILCP, a nonprofit organization established to advance the rights of people with disabilities through the elimination and prevention of barriers, has expanded its services and is now considered a Waiver Provider. As a Waiver Provider, the CILCP offers the Fiscal Agent Model of attendant care services. "In the past, we could only provide our customers with an overview of available waiver programs along with guidance, support and direction regarding who to contact," Braddy said. "As a Waiver provider, we can provide a more comprehensive service package to our customers including complete consumer payroll services." The CILCP employer payroll services allow customers to maintain maximum control of attendant care services, without the worry of payroll responsibilities. The services give more flexibility in the hiring of attendants, allow customers to pay attendants a higher hourly rate, create greater flexibility with scheduled hours, and ensure greater control over who serves as an attendant care worker. "The greatest benefit of this program is that the customers have the opportunity to choose who they have working in their own homes," said Sara Hummer, Director of CILCP's Payroll Services. Included among the payroll services is IRS assistance, employee paycheck processing, confidential record maintenance, attendant training and background checks. In addition to these services the CILCP will assist in obtaining workers compensation for attendants in the event of a work-related injury, and they will provide attendants with the hepatitis B vaccination free of charge.
