NEW BLOOMFIELD COMMUNITY TO ADDRESS NEEDS OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES Center for Independent Living of Central PA to hold public meeting in New Bloomfield on August 26 "Our goal is to get positive feedback from a number of community members to see what can be done to improve living conditions," Theotis Braddy, CILCP Executive Director said.   (Camp Hill, PA) - Residents of the New Bloomfield area will gather on Thursday, August 26 to discuss ideas, concerns and suggestions to address the needs of people with disabilities in their communities. There will be two public meetings held by the Center of Independent Living of Central Pennsylvania at the Veteran's Building in New Bloomfield. The first meeting will run from 3-5 p.m. and the second will go from 6-8 p.m. "Our goal is to get positive feedback from a number of community members to see what can be done to improve living conditions," Theotis Braddy, CILCP Executive Director says. "We believe that open communication in this type of public forum is an excellent way to create new ideas." During the public meetings people in the community will have the opportunity to express their thoughts on the current conditions they think hinder or help people with disabilities. CILCP aims to develop new ideas to improve the community for all residents. CILCP is dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities. The organization is run and administered by people with disabilities. CILCP's mission is to break down the barriers that people with disabilities face. The New Bloomfield meetings are being held at the Veteran's Building on West Main Street in New Bloomfield. The meetings are open to anyone interested.
