(Camp Hill, Pa.) - The Center for Independent
Living of Central Pennsylvania (CILCP) announces that it is
partnering with Mark Sherron, a Central Pennsylvania based
inventor, in an effort to raise money for CILCP's Operation
Rebuild.com. CILCP is a nonprofit, nonresidential
organization serving people with disabilities, as well as
their family members, community service providers,
government agencies and private businesses.
According to Executive Director Theotis Braddy, CILCP
will promote and sell Sherron's "Coffee with a Cause"
coffee. For every bag of coffee sold through CILCP, Sherron
will donate one dollar to Operation Rebuild.com.
Operation Rebuild.com is a CILCP administered project
with the goal of placing new computers in the homes of
people with disabilities who have low incomes. CILCP seeks
cash donations from various businesses, agencies and
individuals who are willing to support the goal of Operation
Rebuild.com. As funds become available CILCP will purchase
new computers and place them in the homes of people with
disabilities. CILCP also provides computer technical
assistance through volunteers.
Operation Rebuild.com depends on Central Pennsylvania
businesses, public and private agencies, and individuals who
are willing to support its cause.
"Coffee with a Cause" is a program developed by Sherron,
who invents products to benefit the visually impaired.
Sherron's most popular product is the American Liquid Level
Indicator (ALLI), a product he designed to help the visually
impaired pour liquids without overflowing.
"We formed this partnership with Mr. Sherron to benefit
both CILCP and Mr. Sherron's development of products for
persons who are visually impaired," Braddy said. "This is an
excellent program that will benefit CILCP's ongoing effort
with Operation Rebuild.com."
