What is the goal of Operation Re-Build.Com? Operation
Re-Build.Com is a project of CILCP with the goal of placing refurbished
computers in the homes of people with disabilities who have low
income. The CILCP administered this project and computer technical
assistance is provided through volunteers.
How does Operation Re-Build.Com accomplish its goal?
The process Operation Re-Build.Com uses is very simple. We seek
out various businesses, agencies, and individuals who are ready
to purchase new computer systems and ask them if they are willing
to donate their old computer systems to Operation Re-Build.Com.
This ready and willing approach allows us to have a number of older
computer systems in stock. As funds become available we rebuild
the computers and place them in the homes of persons with disabilities
who are on a waiting list.
Who does Operation Re-Build.Com depend on? Operation
Re-Build.Com depends on you! Your willingness to make a difference
in the lives of people with disabilities. We depend on Central Pennsylvania
local businesses, public and private agencies, and individuals who
are ready and willing to donate computers. We also depend on financial
donations to aid us with the additional cost of upgrading donated
computers when needed.
For more information on Operation Re-Build.com or to contribute
computers or make tax deductible monetary contributions call 731-1900
or e-mail us at Office@cilcp.org.
