Policy Information Exchange (PIE)
It is the mission of the Policy Information Exchange (PIE) to educate and inform Pennsylvanians with disabilities, their families and advocates, and the general public, regarding public policy issues and to further the exchange of policy information between the Pennsylvania Developmental Disabilities Council and federal, state and local policy makers. The Policy Information Exchange is funded by the Pennsylvania Developmental Disabilities Council (PADDC).
The PIE team is lead by Terry Roth, Esq., Consultant,Theotis W. Braddy, Consultant and Executive Director of CIL of Central Pennsylvania, Joan Martin, Executive Director, United Cerebral Palsy of Pennsylvania and Dee Miller, Administrative Assistant. The PIE project is administered by UCP of PA.
The PIE project publishes a quarterly newsletter called, A "Slice of Pie". A "Slice of Pie" is an ongoing publication keeping our readers informed about important public policy issues.
