Sweep Up Your Neighborhood

Sweep Up Your Neighborhood is a publication of the Center for Independent Living of Central Pennsylvania (CILCP), a non-profit, non-residential organization run and administered by people with disabilities. In 1999 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, a grassroots group called Accessible Communities Today (ACT) began what they called The MidTown Sweep. As a result of ACT's experiences this Sweep Up Your Neighborhood publication is meant to serve as a guide and a resource for people who want to make their own communities accessible.
