Information and Referral Advocacy American Sign Language (ASL) Program TTY Trainings Additional Resources
The CILCP provides information regarding a variety of issues related to people who are deaf or hard of hearing. If we are unable to give you the information you need, we are able to refer you to an alternate resource that can. Information requested may involve compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), advocacy issues, assistive technology, interpreter questions, or many other topics related to people who are deaf or hard of hearing. You may email any specific question to Office@cilcp.org.
The CILCP encourages people who are deaf, hard of hearing or deafblind to empower themselves by learning about their rights and privileges, specifically under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The IRS has access to information as well as alternate resources that are helpful when advocating for reasonable and public accommodations, and other rights under the ADA.
A TTY is a device used by both deaf/hard of hearing/deafblind and hearing people to communicate by telephone. The CILCP offers to train businesses and individuals on how to use a TTY. For more information, please email us at Office@cilcp.org.
