The Pennsylvania Affordable Apartment Locator (PAAL)
The Apartment Locator was developed by Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency as a tool to link consumers to affordable housing options throughout the Commonwealth. It is intended to be an aid for consumers who are searching for affordable apartments and for property managers and developers who wish to market their affordable vacant units.

Section 8 Made Simple is Available online! Section 8 Made Simple is the latest in a series of housing publications from TAC's Housing Center for People with Disabilities. Section 8 Made Simple contains practical information to assist people with disabilities and the entire disability community to navigate through the Section 8 program more successfully. This guidebook is intended to be a valuable tool to assist all stakeholders in the disability community - including self-advocates, case managers, family members, advocates, and direct service providers. Rural Accessibility Modification Project (RAMP) is a new project established by the CILCP and orginally funded by PADDC. The goal of RAMP is to establish permanent volunteer groups in a three county area that will fund and construct ramps and other minor home modifications for persons with developmental disabilities. The three target counties are Cumberland, Dauphin, and Mifflin. For more information contact Ann Neimer at AHNeimer@cilcp.org.
The PA Access Program is a combined effort among the Department of Community and Economic Development, the Department of Public Welfare and PA Housing Finance Agency to provide low and moderate-income residents, with permanent disabilities, increased accessibility in their homes. Modifications to their homes will prevent institutionalization and enable people with disabilities to remain in their community. Also for low interest loans to be used for assistive technology such as home modifications, contact the Pennsylvania Assistive Technology Foundation at 888-744-1938. Any Pennsylvania resident with a disability or older Pennsylvanian who needs assistive technology may be eligible for a low-interest loan.
